The Indus script
The lost language of a 4,000-year-old civilization, never deciphered. Thousands of short inscriptions survive on seals and tablets. Dozens of decipherments have been claimed, and the AI starts by testing every one the same way, across every inscription. Then they map where each sign appears, compare the script with ones already deciphered, and link each inscription to where it was found.

Re-checking a SETI search
Breakthrough Listen has published years of radio telescope data and the searches run on it. The swarm rebuilds one published search on a small public slice, re-checks every signal it reported or ruled out as interference, and tests a second detector on signals it plants itself.
